14 years ago and now, right back where we started

It's hard to comprehend so much time has passed. I see our country and really don't like what I see. We are once again complacent. Lulled into a false sleep by a politically correct gov't. .....are we safer today than 14yrs ago?

No usual story about what I experienced on this day when the towers came down. Instead, I want you to remember who did this and question why our gov't refuses to mention the words "Radical Islam". Ask why our gov't would negotiate a nuclear deal in which our country gives up so much and gains nothing but promises from a radical Islamic gov't who can't be trusted and is hell bent on the destruction of Israel. Ask why some in charge want to bring 1000's of Syrian "refugees" into our country when Islamic country's are refusing them. Strangely they seem to be all men of fighting age. Protest this Trojan horse.

I'll never forget who the enemy is. If one wants to call me biased, bigoted or a racist, I'm fine with that. You haven't seen from the comforts of your couch, what I've seen in person. The media showed you the pretty shots of firemen raising flags and officers leaning on each other. They left out the carnage and horror that all the first responders see every night as they try to sleep. Each day it looks more and more like our gov't. has forgotten.

    and in before...
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments

Sure bringing 10,000 Syrian refugees here is a glorious idea!! The media will have you believe they are poor women and children, yet 9,999 could be Isis militants??? No??

Amen brother, what a sad chain of events over the last few years. I hope I am wrong, but it's becoming harder to pass these things off as coincidence during the last eight years.

The destruction will come from not the outside, but from within.

I disagree, you can have all the pitty parties you want, but the United States is still one of the best countries, I consider myself lucky to be born American.

"One of the best countries" Until it isn't anymore. Will we notice when it happens?

Yes, still one of the best but sometimes it seems like those who make decisions are trying to change that.
