    Did you ever get a chance to measure that bad boy? I'm thinking about making it a speaker box when my boat comes in........if it is big enough.

    Well SE 66 looks like your step upgrade got some people's attention. I called Ranger and ordered one this morning and Ben from parts said someone else had ordered one last week from the idea he got off BBC.

    Sorry I haven't replied sooner, but here are the measurements
    Across back of step against deck : 22 1/2"
    Across front of step facing seats : 17"
    From back of step towards front of step: 10 1/2"
    From top of step to floor : 8"

    Did you install the hinge or did it come the factory?

    Prob going to need a catch to keep it from flopping in rough water. Maybe a couple internal magnetic cabinet catches.
