Power Pedestals - Snap Lock or Spring Lock

Gonna be replacing my pedestals on my 2000 171....with the power type....I notice Swivl-eze offers two different types...will either of these models work ok?....or is one better than the other?...will either one of them actually lock in?....

You need the Swivel Eze Snap Lock unless you replace the bases. I had to replace my front base during my recarpet job and I modified a Spring Lock to accept both. That stainless Springfield is 'purdy'

if you need or would like the black ones, this guy has them.. He was the only one that I could find with Black, and his price isn't too bad.

I bought one of the new anodized ones for my 05 206 and they would not fit, I had to have them turned in a lathe because they were 1.77 and my champs were 1.67.
Also the springlock has a much better mounting bracket for the seat than the snap lock.

    Re: (brokejeep)

Are you sure on the 1.67? Thought they were 1.75 prior to the 1.77 ones...
