Satelite TV Connection for my Travel Trailer?

First I can't receive either Direct TV or Dish Network at my home due to unable to receive a signal from a satellite signal. My inquirey is what would and do I need to do to be able to get Direct TV and be able to connect the proper satellite connection. Thanks for any advice.

I have Directv at home. I just purchased a SWM dish tailgater to use for my RV. Because I have Directv at home, the plan is to use the home receiver while on the road. Still have to do a driveway test to make sure everything works as it should
