Chevy High Country or GMC Denali ?

    Ok here go's...

I have been test driving both a 2015 Chevy High Country and a GMC Denali. Both are top of the line trucks but I have been disappointed in the GMC. The price is within a few hundred of each other but the GMC Denali comes with a flat finished wheel that makes the truck look rather bland.

The Chevy comes with crome wheels that really makes the truck stand out, GMC want's another 2k to upgrade.....not what I would expect in their best truck.

I expect everyone to pick the Denali, but even the ride in the Chevy seems better. My be me...but I'm leaning towards the Chevy right now.

    What do you guys think?
    Hey....Lets be careful out there!

If you like the Chevy then why would you get the GMC? I bought the 14 LTZ plus before the High Country came out. The only difference was the brown seats which I didn't care for once I saw them anyway. Had my truck not developed all the nit noid problems, mostly the vibration problems I'd likely still have it.

I prefer the Denali (I have a 2010), but you have to go for what pleases you. I love the AWD vs the 4WD. Wife never has to mess with anything to drive it in the snow.

Pretty sure they are either 2 or 4WD now. The older ones had a bigger engine and AWD. All that changed with the new body style.

Get the Chevy if you like it. I don't see the problem. As far as ride goes they should be the same. I've got a 2014 Sierra SLT Z71 4x4. It's by far the best truck I've ever owned...and I've had a bunch of them.

My wife bought a new 2014 High Country and we don't had even the first complaint with the truck. It's the quietest riding truck I've ever been in. I don't know what you will be pulling with it but we've got a 33 ft fifth wheel camper that we pull with this truck and it handles it like a champ. I have nothing negative to say about the truck. Good luck with your purchase.

I was in the same boat 2 months ago (mine was LTZ chevy or SLT sierra) I liked the front end of the sierra more so I went with the SLT all terrain and I'm in love lol

They are exact same truck. The ride difference is in your head

Do the Denali trucks have air-ride suspension? I know the Denali SUVs do, if so does the HC also have it?

Made in the same factory, by the same people are they not? Different badges on the front, but don't believe there is a huge difference between them. I'd get whichever one I like more.

15 responses and no one said to buy the one you can pay cash for! I think they both look great. I am a chevy man myself so I would vote for the one that wears a bowtie!
