I'll get a pic later but I mounted mine right under my bunks on the trailer frame.

mounted mine just above the taillights.
Also can you post any pics of them mounted to your tow vehicle or boat trailer. I like the idea. Several ramps I visit don't have suitable lights at the ramp.

Trailer back up lights.
Just having fun with you guys.
If your trailer does not have them a easy way to add a heck of a lot of night vision is to add two cree LED 18W flood lights to the back bumper. Thats 4 on the head rack on the dodge and two flood facing down.. Have to have light to fill the generator under the blue cover at night and figured if I lit up the whole boat landing everyone would be happy.
New Ford I bought just installed them on it several weeks ago. On its own switch up by the dash...
Simple fix for backing anything at night and lights up beside the trailer where its needed. On the ass end of the trailer helps but not as much as seeing the sides and those on the back of the trailer don't help there.

For those asking about trailer light wiring - If your trailer already has reverse lights, you just tap into those wires. If the trailer does not have them, you will have to run wire from the tongue to the rear the trailer and then decide how you want to proceed. You can install a switch at the front of the trailer and just tap into the constant power lights on the trailer so you can flip it on when you get the ramp and off when done. If your tow vehicle has light plug receptacles on the back and you are currently using a 4 wire plug, you could replace that with a 5 or 7(Depending on your vehicle) and then plug right into the tow vehicle. I will look when I get a little time later today, as there is a thread on BBC where a guy showed his wiring install for new lights on a trailer that had no lights before.
thats all i did.....tapped into the blue wire for the trailer brakes. lights come on when i put it in reverse
My trailer never had backup lights. I ran a new wire the length of the trailer. Bought a new 7 way plug from amazon. Cut the 4 way plug off and wired the new plug up. Connected the two kawell flood lights to the new wire and was done. Sure makes a big difference backing down dark ramps.
The ones on BCB's website are crazy bright! l love mine

I just saw this and will order a set tonight, but I need to know how to wire them into my trailer connection. I use the round plug, so I assume that it has a backup light available, I just need to know which one. My trailer does not have brakes and does not have backup lights. Anyone have an idea?

OK, I found a diagram, Google is great, and if this and my thinking are correct, all that I have to do is to tie into the blue wire at the trailer harness and it should work. Is it as simple as that? Does the blue wire go hot when the truck goes into reverse?

That diagram shows the purple being the reverse light wire, but that's the truck side.
Well, I would claim to be color blind, but I don't suppose that you would believe that I am color blind and illiterate? I see that now. Thanks for catching my mistake.
Brad
No problem, if your trailer was wired for brakes or reverse lights...it is usually a blue wire on the trailer side. So you was half right
