    New Dell laptop wont recognize hero 7

    I just bought a new Dell laptop to try and up my game on my YouTube channel. But when I got it home and plugged hero 7 into usb port it, the dell wont recognize it. Anyone here good with computers? Tried several remedies that I searched online but still no good. Anyone use a newer Dell to edit? If so please PM me. I also cant find a thunderbolt 3 docking station that is compatible with dell.

    Are you plugging the hero 7 into the thunderbolt or into the laptop itself? From my experience the thunderbolt adapters are a pain in the @$$. Dell or HP both are crap that I would not buy for personnel use.
