    7610/GT50-TM image interpretation

I finally managed to put a SD card in my 7610. Below are some pictures I captured while trolling a local gravel pit which is somewhat weedy. My fishing partner contends that the harder returns are weeds, but I have my doubts. What do you think?

Just 2 cents worth and may not be worth that. I would interpret what is showing on the DownVu as not fish because of the exaggerated vertical of the return. Fish should be more elongated horizontal. Similarly on the SideVu I would call this not fish. Same reason, except that on the SideVu the fish should be elongated vertical, not horizontal. On the 2D, can't tell. I can tell that your transducer is tilted too much forward. When the arch has a long leading edge like this and chopped off tail that usually means the transducer is pointed too much forward.

If they are weeds ..... They would have to be REALLY sparse.

BTW that black bar on the right is removable if you dont need it and want more screen space.
