I am looking at a 2009 183 CX with the following details:

CX Trailer PKG (Alum. Bow Cover Plate & Fender Guards, LED Lights, Retractable Tie Downs, Elite Tires and Wheels, Spare Tire),
MinnKota Max 70/US, Lowrance LMS 520C in Dash, 510C at Bow, HotFoot Throttle, Pro Trim, Boat Cover, Remote Oil Fill, Black “Golden” Rule.

Motor is an Evinrude E-TEC 150 H.O.

Solid rig? I searched and couldn't find anything here about that model.

If you do a search here you should be able to find plenty of info about the 183 - not sure with a 150HO though. The 183 has to be one of the roomiest and one of the best 18' boats on the market. As much as I dislike the recent news about Champion and Stratos, I wouldn't be afraid of an 09 Champion. PE says they are honoring all warranties. Sounds like this one is pretty well equipped....if its the one at WDI, it looks sharp on their website. I'll bet after a test drive you'll be hooked. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. For some reason, when I search for 183 I get nothing, no matter if I try current or archived content, titles only or message body.

Either way, I'm going to look at it this weekend.

Is there a storage box available to replace the center seat, similar to the one Stratos came out with? The web site indicates there may be. I may look at a second console as well, if I can get one made in the right colors.

Of course, with the PE issues and production not back up yet, it may be a stretch on these items.

Quite possibly, when production starts up in Flippin in July, you might be able to get both the 2nd console and the step-up box. Not positive, but always can ask. The 183 is one of the three models which will be built, so that's a plus..

The boat as designed does not have a center box The boat doesnt need it either: It has storage equal to many 20 boats on the market.

I believe the box was an option in the original 183 Elites. I know it was in the other Elites...then it became the standard...

Bob, it is the one at WDI. We pick it up on Thursday.

I can't wait to run it and start to learn how it handles.
