    How high do you trim???????

How high i'm I supposed to be able to trim up? I bring the motor all the way down to negative trim for the best hole shot. Then as I press the pedal to hit WOT i bring the motor up until I start loosing speed/grip, the problem if this is one is that I can't bring it up to the level (90degree) angle without loosing speed and grip...
any toughts?? How high do you guys trim?

Should be able to obtain full trim at wot with no speed loss. Maybe ur engine is too high.

Go past 90 and hold it to the floor if ur doing this going half throttle its gonna feel like its slipping some unless u measured wrong and really are not 4/5 below pad

Mine is less than 2" below pad and I still trim all the way up.

JMHO but all boats are different it seems to me. For me to get best trim performance I rarely trim very high. Another boat I had it seemed I had to trim almost all the way up.

All the way. You can't over trim if your plate is set up right.

Mine is obviously not set up correctly. I have a 1 year old 2015 Z8. When I trim up I suck air and lose all power. Can someone point me to the thread on set ups and measuring pads and how to operate manual jackplates. I know its around but I can't find it.
    Thanks!

3.5" below pad is a really good starting point.
