Heading to lake shafer for the first time, where is a good place to launch?
Big Monon across from Tall Timber Marina. $10 to launch. Nice ramp and good parking.

Monon is all I use, depending on how you come it is right across a little bridge.

No one else uses the campground ramp? I've used it quite a bit.

Tom is talking about the Indiana Beach ramp in the back of the campground. Several of the larger bass events go out of there. If you use that ramp try to launch on the southern side of the ramp. As soon as you enter turn on (I believe) the first left and follow it back.
Heres a dumb question, any free ramps?
Blue water on Freeman,, but not on Shafer.
