i have a 70lb thrust minn kota edge and the speed is stuck on high. you can turn the knob and it will click into other speed positions but it wont work on that speed the only speed it will work on is 5(high) and it drains the batteries very fast. if anyone knows a solution please let me know.
My old 55 Edge did that - my local repair shop put a new switch in it.

Check to see if any of your wires are rubbing/shorting out at the pedal. My Edge 45 had an issue with a terminal end rubbing thru one of the wires and causing it to run on #2 speed when I was on # 4.

Two wires got hot and melted together in my 55. Easy fix.
