Need info re prop and motor height. Has a 2003 Marc 225 FOR on it. Have something similar? What hole is your motor on and what three blade r u running? Have a 6" backplate on it as well. Was looking at a Fury 24 pitch? Thanks for any responses.

Are you looking for top end speed or better handling & hole shot? I run a lot of rough water so I run a 4 blade on my 203 (24P fury 4 225 Yamaha). The 202 will shine with a 25-26 3 blade tempest or Yamaha M series. The 4 blade trophy’s did ok on them but their are better choices available now like the fury, Croxton razor series.

I have a 25 Tempest Plus and I'm getting 56mph top end with a 225 DFI. That's why I''m wondering about lowering the otor a hole or not. So, if I'm reading STLbassbuster right, I should be looking at a 25 Fury?

Sounds like motor may have problems. Is the boat new to you? Need to check and make sure it is firing on all 6 cylinders. Check fuel lines also. Make sure throttle is opening all the way at wot.
