    Merc Sea Pro 4 strokes

Sorry if this is already on here but just noticed these on the merc site today. Looks like all the 75-115s get the Command Thrust Gearcase with the 2.38:1 gear. Saltwater version again.

What differentiates them from consumer application engines?

I like the low gear option for the 75 on these. They didnt do that with the standard 75 model like that of the previous 4s and opti 75 engines. I always felt the lower gear made the 75 seem much stronger and allowed a bigger prop. Overall numbers always seemed very good. See alot of those engines on the tin forum. Have yet to have anyone post numbers of the new 75 with the 2.07:1 gear and have been curious how much of a difference that makes with prop selection.

The most noticeable difference (visually) is the decals/badging.

Other differences may include (varys by model, and not necessarily limited to):

    -RPM Range/Limit

    -Calibration used (Different)

-Gearcase Option/Choices (for instance, the 115 SeaPro is CT Gearcase only)

-Warranty (3 Years Commercial, whereas standard models are limited to 1 Year for Commercial Use).
