My question is for you rod builders or guys who use customs. I have all customs built on rainshadow blanks as I have a deal with a company linked with Batson. As most of you know Batson has teamed with Gary Loomis and is now carrying the NFC blanks. My question to you is: what is the best NFC blank in the 7'6" range for 3/4 oz football jigs in deep water? I want a rod that has a softer tip on it. I am looking at the high modulus blanks. Also, how do those high modulus blanks compare to the more higher priced production rods such as GLX and NRX. Thanks!
