this will be my first real fiberglass bass boat, been running a 17' aluminum for years, finally able to get a loan. I have around $10,000.

well noted and welcome to the BBC Gang It may take some time to find your Boat, But Noticed your post, we have 2 dealers here, the one ^^^ is a Johnson/Evinrude Dealer, But he Fishes with a (Yamaha Personnel Rig).. So I'm guessing he handles those also.. has mostly Skeeter Boats, and a few other Brands on Occasion.. the other dealer is Mercury with Ranger Boats and High End Pontoons. p.s. while back had a New one Blue $70,000.00 last time was there , was gone guess he finally sold it.. was a few yrs older Model , was a New Left Over listed in $90,000.00 Range

a couple thousand above my price range is no problem I could have the difference in a few weeks. Thanks a lot guys this is by far the best resource on the internet. Obviously I will keep checking the boats4sale section here as well as religiously searching craigslist(although I have almost gotten caught in a few scams) but if anybody sees or hears of a solid boat in my price range please post ! ok flipinstick, check on this site or iboats.com for how to check out used boats for sale , may be of help,, to keep from getting a dud.. craigs list , key words to watch out for and skip boats is..
#1 Won't take to lake to test,just on hose and muffs.. means motor won't run on lake.. #2 Needs TLC .. abused not kept up.. etc

I actually went down and checked this boat out, and was going to pull the trigger on it when the local dealer here called me and offered me a deal I couldn't pass on. It is a sweet rig and really clean for an 07. I just couldn't bring myself to eat the sales taxes I would have paid for buying in Georgia.

Howdy Te, lol well sales tax GA cheaper than Tn.. He had a Blue Skeeter for awhile $93,000 something and had it down to $70,000. pretty Boat .. some one finally bought it last yr I think. fully loaded.. I don't go there too often, just for parts.. and service.. But I keep my hands in pockets when I look ..I don't need to get the New Boat Bug

Yeah, I drooled all over that blue bug while I was waiting around for them to see what they could do to sell me the zx200. Probably the best looking Skeeter I've seen.

Look at towne marine, A+ dealer. I have bought a lot of toys in my life and they are close if not the best buying experience I have ever had.

They have this boat that's close to your price range.

I bought a 1999 Zx202c last year here in central Texas for book value of $12000 (not for sure what value book they use) but I love it good condition just had to upgrade a few things like electronics and recessed foot pedal tray but the motor is real good shape so dont be afraid of a older Skeeter if it was taken care of

no but always wanted to it just real low now, right now I am fishing the lakes on a couples tournament trail we are fishing this year closer to San Antonio, but I want to learn the lakes in that area including LBJ which is one of the only constant level lakes in the upland lakes
