Electric Pontoon?

Hi all, doing a little research for a friend regarding an electric setup for a pontoon boat. I'm not sure exactly where to start here as it'd seem ideal to start with a boat that has an electric setup. Are there any dealers to begin the search, or would he need to consider some sort of conversion kit? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I know of no one with an electric pontoon boat. They might be okay on a small body of water for someone that just wants to putt around.

The limitation of any battery powered boat is the weight and cost of the batteries. You might Google "electric outboards".

Thanks Bamaman. My buddy lives on a subdivision lake where only electrics are allowed. I've seen pontoons putting around out there so just figured I'd begin the search as my friend is seemingly helpless with anything boat related.
