    Which Prop To Get

    I'm buying a 2015 Z8 w/ Merc 250 Pro XS and was wondering what prop should I start out with? The dealer wants to put a 25P Tempest on, just want some feed back before we settle.

    I think a 26p Tempest Plus would be a better choice.

    +1 maybe a 25 fury, I run a 24 fury and 25 Tempest on my 200, 25 Tempest would more than likely hit the rev limiter.

    I run a 26 fury on my 225 opti, 26 is a good starting point

    I have a Z8 with a 250 and I run a 25 Fury right now, I have a 25 Tempest plus that I ran for maybe 6 months. The 25 is dead on RPM range on my boat.
    The Tempest lifts my bow more than the Fury but the Fury is more driveable at 65 plus speeds. If it was me I would start with a Tempest Plus 25P.
