Well, I FINALLY completed the little street rod. I took it to its first showing back in November. We attended the fifth annual memorial car show honoring Alex Viola. Alex was a special forces Staff Sergeant in the Green Beret. Alex lost his life to an IED explosion while on a dismounted patrol in November 2013.

There were nearly three hundred cars at the event in November. Alex's team of Green Beret soldiers were the official judges at the car show event. We were honored with one of the Best in show awards and I am still taken by the honor. To be presented the trophy by one of Alex's Green Beret team mates nearly brought tears. Thanks to everyone for the kind comments and following this project. I had no idea I would be involved in it this long..........
