Thanks, I was struggling a little trying to hold it up, weighed in at 40lbs. Also I was worried about those teeth getting me..

That is just wrong to be holding a Sailfish with the beach in the background lol. A few were actually caught within sight of land here this past year but most of the time it's a 40 mile ride to get them.

That's not a big one; only about 90#'s. I picked that one because it was a very good picture. That was Brian's first tarpon; I had that picture framed.

That's why we go to Miami to sail fish. That's South Beach in the background.

BasSlayer82, Great looking boat! I think I saw you leaving the ocean front area with it on New Years Day. Looks like you fish the same area I fish, surprised I haven't seen you on the water. I live on Linkhorn Bay so mostly stay back there. My pup boat is a 16 Ft Sandpiper with a 40 E-Tec.

Lee W, Thanks bud! Ya that was me, launched out of the state park. I was down in your neck of the woods looking for the schools of reds. Not much luck, caught a couple trout. Usually I can find the reds in big school back there, but its trying to get them to eat in 45 degree water can be tough!

I sure hope you had 30+ guys fishing with you, if not, you sure dodged a bullet keeping all those reds!!!

Edit: Sorry thought those were Fl. reds :]
