Offshore; Sailsand Whites... Grouper, Yellowfin, Mahi for the table. Near shore; Cobia!!, Striped Bass, Spaniards. Reds & Specks inside or outside.

Im pretty lucky to live < 4 hours from some of the best fishing on the east coast. Sight fishing for migrating Cobia is about the most fun a fisherman can have, talk about a rush, and hard to beat on a plate.

Love staying in Houma, then go out to Dularge. Was just learning the area until it came to a screeching halt last year, but now that heart surgery #14 is over with, looking forward to bringing the wife either there or to Port Fourchon this October. Love fishing for trout and occasionally get just offshore for some cobia at the 1 mile rigs. Depending on health, hope to come more often in 2016 once the bills are paid off. Really love it in May and Sept/Oct when it isn't so hot. Gotta see the boys at Evolution Marine who fixed me up when new motor prop shaft broke in 2012, time I bought them a beer or 2.
