2007 Champion Boats Brochure - The bar has been raised!

Aaron had mentioned in an earlier post that the brochures have started getting out to dealers.

I picked up one today at C&O #2 and let me tell you, it is very professionally done. It truly generates excitement for the brand and justifies the word "premium" for our boats, no matter what the model year.

I noticed there was no cutting and pasting engines on boats at obviously wrong angles as in previous Champion brochures. Also, no obvious heavy photo-shopping as in prior years brochures. If there are photo tricks, I can't tell it, it's that good. The photos are well done, the overhead shots are good. All the boats are well described and detailed in the specs. The photo angles and tint and hues are very stylish. They showed you enough of the boats and layouts in the brochure without "over doing it". All the boats truly look "premium" from the Elites to the CX 206 and 183.

They really get the word out on the ride and handling and the difference between the Champion vs. other brands. They also point out the endless customization you can do with colors on the boat. I took away the impression Champion is trying to differentiate itself from other boat companies, a message I feel is stronger in this brochure than in the past. The brochure immediately hits you with the "V" wing hull design, then walks you through the core points in why the internal build is better, then focuses on fit & finish before describing the incredible storage capacity in the boats.

They did a great job. The brochures is 41 pages. The first 27 pages cover the bass boats. Another positive is that the brochures are ready long before the boat show season, giving folks a chance to wet their appetites before heading out to the shows.

Mr. Don Wood, Ms. Jamie Motley, and everyone else who helped in any way with this 2007 brochure, well done!! If I didn't already own a Champion, I'd want one after looking at the brochure.

Yep and after seeing the New B&WB mag that 200 is within range of a lot of Peoples pocket books ! I haven't seen it yet (brochure) but when I was up there talking to the crew, they are PUMPED up about the new year and rightfully so after touring the plant (again) . I never get tired of stoping by there.

Nice brochure, saw one at Nichols but I did see two typos in two minutes. I know its picky but it didn't match the rest of the layout.

Regarding the $30K tag for the 200.. wouldn't be surprised if that should be $40K. My jaw dropped when I read that!

    Re: (Lea)

    I've had 5 calls in 3 days looking for 30K 200's......they don't exist.

I could do a stipped unit with a 40 hp engine maybe.......but that's not reasonable.

Xpress did the same thing...ran a 2 year old ad for an SVX 19 w a 200 EFI Yamaha for 18K.....there were none of those either.

    Re: (Todd Morgan)

What is a ball park price on a 200 anyway. Step son has approached me about my 203 and I may consider letting him have it.

    Re: (Luke)

Thats about what I figured on either 200 or 210 depending on options. And I hope that helps the rest of with resale on our current boats.

I just received my brochure from Grammer marine about a week ago. I thought it was very well put together and it just stepped up my enthusiasm for getting my 200 Elite in mid-december. I ordered it about 6 weeks ago and I am really looking forward to getting it.
