    Smile Thoughts on Recon boats

I know it is hard to drag opinions out of BBC folks, but do any of you have any thought on Recon boats?

Good looking boats. I like the market with Tuffy they are competing in. Like the fact that they have room for a kicker. Wish they had something between the 785 and 985 since the 785 is a tad small while the 985 is a heavier boat than I'd want to haul.

    I saw a new 785 with a 150 4-stroke Merc and an Terrova for right at 30K.

Have been in two, and was very surprised by the ride/drive of both. Set up with 200 Evinrude HO's. Good rigging, fit and finish was good. Heard that they are the ones who p[purchased the Cobra Boat Hulls. We'll see.
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS ! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO !

I saw one up close and personal at the local fishing/boat show back in January. The 21 footer. Absolutely beautiful rig. Starting at 50k with a 250

Certain models can handle rods 10' long into the rod locker. That's a huge plus when trying to find a safe location for your 8' and 8'6" rods.
