OK Guys, how about some training on how to post those pics ? I don't know the first thing about how to.

I donÂt mean to rain on your parade man but thatÂs my 198Â the exact one. We got that boat from Todd and C&A last spring and she is my pride and joy. If someone would post some picture of her for me id gladly show it off even more.
hey buzzbait007: email your pictures to me at lak100@comcast.net. I will post for you.

Nice boat Treedog!! Do you tournament fish out of that rig?
DUH... I've got some pics of my little Champ in my computer... How do I post them on this forum. See the symbol that says "insert image" ... Must be getting warm... Where do I go from there?
There is a full explanation under the tips section. Not hard once you get thru it.

Heres what I know...and I am hardly an expert.
basically its a pulley system. think of a rubber band on two cone shaped pulleys except the rubber band is a metal linked-band; by moving the band up and down the diameter of the pulleys (think of a cone) the speed of the rubber band will change by an infinite number rather than fixed gear ratios. the technology has been used in Japanese cars and Japanese cars sold in Europe for about 10 years. Ford is now offering a CVT as an option on the new 500 (I think). My Murano, at 60-65 MPH pullng the Champ on flat roadway, turns the engine at 2200-2400 RPMs. Torque is 245 lb ft @ 4400 rpms. Everyone who rides with me is amazed and states that it runs better than some small trucks they have been in.

Larry, sounds real similar to what they used (and may still) in snowmobiles
Hey James, e-mail them to me and I'll get them up. Let me know if you need my address again.
