Just bought this nice rig and needing advice on attempting to reduce the bad chine walk at 60-63 mph: Current setup - 2001 TR20, 2000 Johnson 200, 6" jack plate, 24p Raker, 3.5" BP, 5900rpm WOT/ full trim, 35-40 psi h20 @ WOT/full trim, 69mph gps. Also and probably most important... I have owned smaller boats in the past and never experienced chine walking until this rig, so I would be considered an amateur with this boat. Looking for suggestions to the setup or maybe I just need to learn to drive the boat. Either way, any replies are appreciated. Also I have had an experienced boater with me riding passenger to get it wot/full trim and took both hands off the wheel. That is how I know the h20 pressure, speed, and rpms.
