New to me 1997 R82 Sport with 1996 Mercury 175EFI. Just got problem with motor fixed and running good. Fixing to start restoring trailer and Boat. Plans include wet sand, New carpet, replacing rust on trailer side plates and replacing fenders, wheels & tires tires. Adding new electronics and eventually a new trolling motor. Few other things to get her in great fishing condition. This is my second ranger, always regretted selling my 93 390v. best boat i ever had and i have had a few. from Stratos to skeeter to Javlin. Mr Wood sure knew how to build a quality boat in my opinion.

This is my 2004 Ranger 521VX w/ Mercury 250 Optimax Pro XS. I bought it in August and it had only 88 hours from a good friend. Been garage kept. This is my 2nd Ranger and I love it. I plan on up-grading the electronics after the Holidays and I want to add a Jackplate also. I've changed out the TM to a Minn-Kota Ulterra... IMG_2787.JPEG

I'm the very happy 3rd owner of a 1984 373-V with a 1991 Johnson 150 FastStrike. I bought the boat from Tommy Yetts at Rockwall Marine (really had a great experience experience with Tommy), where he had years of service records from the 2nd owner.

24V 56 lb Motorguide trolling motor
    3 new 'entry level' batteries
3 bank Bass Pro on-board charger
HDS5 Gen 1 at the console and X97 on the bow (could definitely use electronics upgrades, but that may be a while)
Paint, carpet, and upholstery all in good to very good condition

I don't run her hard, but had to do it once to check out top end. With a 4 blade Shooter 13 1/4 x 25, hit 56 on two separate GPS sources. She gets out of the hole well and can cruise on plane in the high teens. I'm new to boat ownership so not sure if these are good or bad numbers, but I'm real happy with the way she rides and how stable she fishes.

I'm running across a few questions (especially around pumps and drains) that I'll post in the general Ranger forum. Thanks for taking a look.

1999 Ranger Comanche 518 DVX. Second owner. Purchased in 2003. Decided to remodel/update versus buying a new one. Based on BBC recommendations I went to Charles Massey in England Ark to do much of the remodel. I couldn't be happier. The 17 hr round trip to drop off and pick up the boat was well worth it and the price was competitive. Compartment seals redone; new hinges; new carpet (padded); new locks; seats upholstered; trailer bunks, trailer tread plate, and inside carpet; wet sand and wax for boat and trailer. I thought the gel coat on the boat and trailer were beyond repair. When I got it back, I was blown away. It looks better today than it did in 2003.

Next I'm looking to upgrade the electronics. Because my wife loves to crappie fish, we are going with the Garmin pantopix 2 large monitors networked.

Here's my 03 519DVX Comanche Ranger 35th Anniversary Edition boat. I love this boat for a lot of reasons, but the main one is that I inherited it from my Father when he passed away. We spent many nights on Table Rock when I was on vacation and in his last few years he bought this boat and told me it was the last boat he'd ever buy. He was right. Now it's mine and it only has 140 hours on it. I plan to keep it and give it lots more hours now and then if I'm a lucky man, after I retire as well.

Beautiful boat and great story. Being that it was your dad's having it makes it even more special. He's riding along with you everytime.
