    Question Jackplate/power poles

    Hey guys new to the forum and also to bass boats this is my first I own and 85 Cajun really unsure of the model I think it’s a pursuit but not 100% sure I was looking to buy power poles and got to looking I have no way to mount them but they do have a adapter for a jackplate which I also don’t have on my boat and have no idea if I can even find one the would work for mine any advice or guidance would be appreciated sorry if it’s a stupid question I just don’t know boats that we’ll thanks in advance!

    Ive never seen a jackplate hurt the performance of a boat so it wouldnt be a bad idea. I wouldnt put much more than a 4"or 6" on it. But with having an older boat I would make darn sure your transom is rock solid before hanging all that weight of a jack plate and power poles on the back. Might be better off with a trolling motor with spot lock on it
