In order to post a picture you first need to "host" them on the internet. They WILL NOT post from your own computer.

Here is a site that offers free web space for picture holding.

http://www.shutterfly.com/

Follow the instructions on this site to join up for an account. It is free, always. They make money printing pictures for people and will occasionally mail you and offer to print some pictures for you (at a very reasonable price by the way)......

Once you have an account with shutterfly you can post your pictures there and from there post them on here. You have to have a web host (your pictures on the web somewhere) such as shutterfly to post pictures on here.

Once you have the pics posted you will see your pictures as "thumbnails" (little pictures about 1 inch square). Place the cursor (arrow) over the thumbnail and double click it to open the picture. Now hold the cursor over the opened picture and RIGHT click it. This will get you a drop down box with a bunch of choices. At the bottom of this box click on "properties" and this will give you yet another drop down box. In this box look for the line that says "address". It should read "http:// etc, etc."..... Place your cursor just to the left of this URL, hold down the LEFT mouse button and drag the cursor across the URL til the whole thing is highlighted (turns blue).

Now you have to copy this to the clipboard of your computer and to do that you hold down the CTRL button while you press the letter C. (this is the copy to clipboard command). You now have your picture address on the web copied to your clipboard and it will stay there until you copy something else to the board.

Now you need to get this information in a post. Go to BBC like you always do and start your post. Where you want to insert the picture, click on the little picture of the mountains or pyramids (yellow box just above this area you are in)and you will see this:

[IMG][/IMG]

Hold the blinking cursor between the [img][/img] boxes and click once. You now have to copy your clipboard to this space. To do that you hold down the CTRL key and hit the letter V. (don't ask why V, i haven't the foggiest, but this is the paste command) The URL 9Internet address of your picture) that you copied to your clipboard should now appear in the space between [img][/img]. Whenever your post is opened the picture you have in Shutterfly will automatically appear in your post.

You can E-mail them to me (Must be in JPeg format) and I will post them for you. But, try do it yourself, once you get one to work you will see that it is a can of corn.......

Hope this helps....any ????? holler back..
