Re: Manufacturers of Cajun Components List (phiggy68)

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by phiggy68 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Does anyone have information on the manufacturer of the rod locker (lockable type) latches for '93 Cajun bassboat? </TD></TR></TABLE>

phiggy, a lot of the bass boat manufacturers used Perko hardware in that timeframe. Might take a look and see by clicking on their name then clicking on Catalog. Chances are also that, that particular latch is no longer available. Looks like they are on page 206

    Good Luck!

Not sure of OEM, but here are a couple of possible replacements for the factory selector valve:

Dose any one know how I can obtain and original or color copy/reproduction manual for my 1978 Cajun Mach II (bass boat) w/ original Mercury 900 Power Trim completely rebuilt. Overall the fiber glass and transom is in good condition. Lake test was fantastic. Trying to restore close to new.

Cajundan, there are none, back in those days the dealer who bought the boats from Cajun did the wiring, so they would've done it a thousand ways.. That's why there isn't any manual for the older Cajuns.

The boat wiring diagram for the 1978 Mach II was glued to the bottom of the rear deck lid. Most of them came off and was lost. That was one of the perks we had with Cajun. We had no prerigging back then and mounted all the motor wiring and trim guauge, but the boat came completly wired. On some models we had to install the tach.

I have a 1984 Rajun Cajun and from what I can tell the wiring harness drawing on the back lid is the same as the one in the mercury engine repair book, for 1986 motors
