With 26P Raker 63-65 depending on conditions / load. With 25P Gade 55/58 depending on conditions / load. Have to run the Gade 3/4" lower than the Raker to keep RPM in range. The 4 blade needs to be worked to tweak set up with it. Like the handling of the boat with the 4 blade for Tx fisihing, but the 3 blade is much more fun to drive.
Thought I would post some pics of my ride. '01 200 XT provee. Got some battle scars but no monthly dues to ride, I like it just fine.

New 26 Mazco HP4 no top end yet (does carry the hull better than the other 2)
Big dog is our GR, Cooper, will not retrieve, hates the water, has no intention of riding the boat.
Little dog is Cate, our English Springer. Can not go in the boat and leave her home. She'll hang all day. She can't use a baitcaster, too many over runs and puts it in the trees a lot. Does fine with a zebco 33
This is my 1991 V254 Bumble Bee 16' with 75 HP Merc. She ain't real pretty but everything works and she never fails to start. I am trying to keep her, we bought a bigger Astro, but I'd be open to finding her a good home.
We just fished so much we never got around to polishing her up like she needed. She'd be real pretty polished up with her new seats and all.

I don't know about suprising anybody. It hits a MEAN lick. Damn thing sounds like a Funny Car!!
I've had the boat about 6 weeks now. In that time I've wet sanded and buffed it out, replaced the carpet, updated the gauges and all the other million things you have to do when working on an old boat. With that being said, I've had it on the water 4 times and the water has been very choppy every time. We did find a semi protected cove and ran it semi hard for a short distance. She'll hit 70 no problem. Right now I've got a 25 Tempest on it with the jackplate almost all the way down just to run in the rough stuff. Can't wait for the rains to end and the river to get back to normal.
I asked the guy I bought it from how fast would it REALLY run and he said "how big's your balls".
