Do you guys use a trim gauge or just fly by the seat of your pants?

I use a trim guage, but you can do either. With that said,if you want an accurate trim gauge buy a Yamaha gauge. All the other brands just don't work nearly as good.(Teleflex and Faria)

'Fly by feel' for me, even in my Ranger's shuttle cockpit with 50million gauges staring back at me.

I have a 2004 h51db with a 2003 mercury 90hp. Would you suggest the same setup as the one with the Yamaha? I have a 6” jackplate, 22p laser 2 prop. Prop 5 1/2 below pad. Ran 51mph gps before I added two more batteries to the back. Now runs 43.
