Kind of. How's that for an answer!

I live in Western Pennsylvania which has plenty of small bass. Banged my head for years on the Three Rivers with plenty of small fish. I have all but given up on Pa bass. However the trout and steelhead fishing in Pa is outstanding.

I have a place on Chautauqua Lake in western NY. My place is 15 miles away from Lake Erie. So those two bodies of water scratch my bass fishing itch.

Add both areas up, and I am in fishing heaven. Just have a drive a bit to get there.

No, NM as a whole state sucks but part of the problem is because we live in the desert, the other part is the game management sucks.

I'm in eastern PA which pretty much sucks for bass fishing. I think this is pretty much the story for the state. Frankly, PA doesn't do a whole lot to make it better. Delaware R. is tough, but close. Chesapeake Bay is luckily 50 miles away.

No Live in Nebraska. A few decent small lake's in the area.
Had my chance to buy property 5 yr's before retired to move to and live by Lake Fork but could not figure out how to take care of it till then, I'm not a wealthy man so I had to pass, oh at that time my wife was for it. Then my wife started thinking about the Grand kids being to far away, I tried everything to convince her to no avail. So gentlemen the moral of the story is if she agrees at first go for it or you to may lose out also, don't be me.

If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.
