28 TXP, even with the pad, 83.1 mph at 6000 rpm. 10% slip.
30TXP, .25 BELOW PAD ,90.1 AT 6000 RPMS @7% SLIP!
I would have thought Blazer hulls would produce similar numbers. I guess not. I was thinking I could use prop slip as a measure of how well my boat was setup, but you all's numbers are all over the place.
They are close from what I see. I have to slip my 30 more than the 29 to get it to run. My 29 TXP is real close to the 30. The 29 runs 91.9 at 6350 which is 7.7%.

What would be a good avg slip # ?
If you can trust the pitch number stamped on the prop, about 8-9%. This is loaded with one man. The more weight you put in expect the slip numbers to go up. When I posted the 29 and 30, both props are worked. Sometimes you need to add an extra pitch for this if it is cupped heavily. Mine are not cupped heavy, but Turbo measures the pitch at a different place than other manufacturers. This tends to make them on the stiff side.
Based on this numbers less than 10% is good? Should I add 1" of pitch with a TXP prop on the calculator? 28=29?
Depends mostly on the cupping from my experience. I have seen TXP's run just as fast or faster as another brand in the same pitch turning 200-300 less RPM's.
I guess I need to get some numbers on mine with just me in the boat. Man, I have got to get me a Phase 2 kit on my next motor.
I would say 83.1 is dam good I'm ready to pull the trigger on a 28 txp. I got my 27 t B&B from Mark and posted 80.1 GPS full Tourney with just me and all my stuff and 0 Fish. I need to go up with JP 25 WP & 5900 rpm. Ge I will I M you soon.
