David, is that warranty transferable? I heard a 2nd console can be added for 800 bucks. Is it the same quality as when Bass Cat themselves put it on? I love that boat.

That would be the console from Basscat for about that price. then either install yourself or have a dealer do it. BCB will be along soon to confirm or correct me.

Is the console painted to match the boat for that price? I also wonder if the warranty is able to be transferred. I need to wait until next spring to order but my mind may change. We'll see

Yes, it will maych. All they need is your boats serial number and they will match the colors.

TexaBamaBass is correct. You order the console from BCB using your HIN they will match the colors.

As far as warranty being transferrable, yes. There are fees associated with that transfer for BCB and Merc. BCB is $100 and that will make you Quest eligible and your lifetime warranty on the hull. Merc has a fee but for right now it escapes me.

David's boat is VERY good looking, he takes care of his stuff and is a super nice guy.

I really like the way the 08 Puma that Sherm has for sale is setup. I just wish it had a Humminbird 997si in the dash but it is a great looking boat and the colors are kinda growing on me.

I saw that boat up close and personal today. If I was to get a new one right now...that would be the boat and the colors. I wouldn't care what kind of depthfinder/gps it had.

Cottonmouth, I have to say as much as I love Ranger, if you ever actually looked at a Cat and rode in it you would be swayed also. I think the Puma and the Z20 or 520 are pretty equal with the speed going to the Cat, some say the Ranger ride rough but I have never had that problem. Now when it comes time for me to get another bassboat it will be a hard decesion but I am afraid speed might win, also the fact that everyone else around here will not have one, also the cat is built better than the ranger. The only minus for the Cat is the console but that is just MHO.

Jeremy you may be right.I have not ridden in any Basscats,and I really like the Baycat you have.What I like most about BassCat is it is a family owned business.I have ridden in a lot of bassboat and NONE can compare the the 520vs in my opinion.I know they are not as fast as most, but I hardly ever go wide open,and my 520 will do 74mph which is as fast as I will ever care to go.I know a lot of things with Ranger have changed over the years.The one I like the least is Forest L. Wood does not own it any more.As far as quality I have owned 3 Rangers and quality has allways been toprate!

Just goes to show you how good looking Bass Cat's are becasue untill you brought the backdrop up I would have never noticed the trees behind the good looking Cat!!!!
