I recarpeted and added 2 HDS 5's this winter
Added new gauges, dash panel & steering wheel.
Repainted the trailer and rewired it with all new optronics LED lights.
Cleaned and painted the old rusty wheels.

1990 Ranger 482V 78.4 MPH on GPS
1990 Bumble Bee 178FD with a VERY warmed over 150.Dyno'ed at 212 hp. Damn thing sounds like a funny car. It rides like a Cadillac at 65 but at 70+ you have to be on your toes.

nice boats all. i have a 1989 basstracker tf1600 with a 110 johnson 16 ft and rides goods. its not pretty enough for pics on here but it will fish.

I am serious about downsizing to the ZX170 w/90 Four this week (have a fast ZX200 now, had 2 since 2002)...what are your likes and dislikes?

In the past I've owned a 19' Ranger and a 20' ProCraft. I miss the storage that these boats had that my 178 Bumble Bee doesn't. The reason that I downsized is because I lost my job in '06 and pretty much had to get rid of everything that wasn't a necessity. When it came time to get another boat I decided that I wasn't going to go in debt for one so I saved my money and found something in my price range. I had to do some work to it but it was fun.
