Hey all, when you measure your prop shaft to pad, do you measure from the bottom of the lip (if you have one) on the xb2003 or do you ignore the lip & measure to pad surface in front of it?
Hey all, when you measure your prop shaft to pad, do you measure from the bottom of the lip (if you have one) on the xb2003 or do you ignore the lip & measure to pad surface in front of it?

Ignore the height of the lip when taking these measurements, so take your measurement slightly in front of the lip. I can't emphasize enough that when doing these types of measurements, IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT THE BOTTOM OF THE BOAT IS PERFECTLY LEVEL AND THAT YOU ARE USING SOMETHING THEN UNDER THE BOAT GOING BACK TO THE PROP SHAFT THAT IS PERFECTLY LEVEL, AND THAT YOUR PROP SHAFT IS PERFECTLY LEVEL. If any of these are not perfectly level, your resulting measurements may be WAY OFF from being accurate. If you want to talk about this, I can send you my phone number.
