    MOTOR GUIDE TOUR 82 DIRECTIONAL DOESN'T ALIGN WITH LOWER UNIT

    Does anyone have a suggestion on how to re-align my directional with the lower unit on my motor guide tour 82? Thanks for any help

    Unscrew the 3 screws on the bottom of the head. Oh deploy the trolling motor before doing so. pull top cap off and align the pointer in the right direction. install top and your good to go. hope that makes sense. I do mine without deploying the troller but I have done this a few times.

    Ok thanks Fador...should I be looking for the problem or just align and put it back together?

    While you have the top off, see if the indicator post that goes into the arrow slips. Also check and make sure the idler pulley is meshing with the cable drum good.
