Wayne, I had posted a while back about having a separate "Sticky" SOLIX Information Resource Thread or at least updating the thread name to include Solix. This doesn't get any use because I don't think people know it also applies to the Solix line. Who would I need to contact to make that happen?

Wayne I also have an update on my problem. I restored the unit to default and got the depth back, and follow contour back but no temperature. Any ideas on what to do next?
Thank you in advance.
Ernie
Currently Humminbird states their business decision is to not allocate available resources along with company and product priorities.
So Solix user safety is ?????.
Solix G1 & G2(and probably G3) users need to be aware that Solix code uses Display-Scrubbing to remove track-points. This Display-Scrubbing code has a serious and dangerous software bug which incorrectly removes Apex-Track-Points in large tracks which results in the track path to be wrong. So be aware that Solix tracks can be dangerously off-course.
Now I have built a lot of tracks for various third-parties and I pretty well know how to workaround Humminbird flaws, but Solix has really made it a major PITA.
Here are some examples. Gold track is the Solix scrubbed track, Purple is the correct track.
A new Solix SW Update 3.890 was made available on the Humminbird Software Update site today. Here are the details:
Software Update - SOLIX Series v. 3.890
Released 12/07/2020
Software Description
PLEASE NOTE:
- This software update is not compatible with ONIX models. If you update to this software on your SOLIX from 3.350 or older, your unit will no longer be compatible over the Ethernet network with ONIX.
- Software version 3.500 or greater must be installed prior to 3.890. 3.500 is part of this zipped file. Once you unzip the file, you will need to follow these INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO UPDATE TO V. 3.500 BEFORE updating to 3.890, below. No damage will occur if 3.500 or greater is not installed, but the update will not be successful.
- Once 3.890 is installed, the factory recovery will be updated to 3.890.
- You will not be able to recover back to previous software versions.
- The defaults will be restored when 3.890 is installed.
Affected Models:
- 411050-1 - SOLIX 15 CHIRP MEGA SI+ G2
- 411040-1 - SOLIX 15 CHIRP MEGA DI+ G2 CHO

Currently, the file appears to be corrupted. Multiple people, myself included, are not able to extract the zip file. It bombs out when trying to extract the Unified 3.890 file... Of course, the most important of the files in the zip file. Will reach out to Humminbird in the morning. Also tried the FishSmart App but the update isn't showing up on it yet.

I have not done anything to my Onix DI 10 touch other than use it fishing in a while so I have forgotten a bit. Last night I was playing on simulator mode and when I exited out I had to reset all of my measurements, it is the international model so everything is metric out of the box. I also lost my custom views. It's almost as if I did a factory reset. Is that normal?

Nothing about remotes not working? Hopefully just an update glitch. The first edition something is included they seem to concentrate on physical things for installation. Not the operational differences. They will catch up about the time for a new model.

Just touching base gents,
Got my Solix 12 and 15 Gen 2's out with the Ulterra blue tooth from its winter nap.
3.75 I believe was the last update I installed before they went to bed.
Is the 3.890 file a good to go? Heading out in 10 days for a week.
