I will trouble shoot as you said in post #739 when I go back up to the cabin where my boat is. Thanks.
Hello All,
having an issue with my onix units. they will no longer network. have onix 8 si at console, 10 sonar at bow. have the latest update. they networked fine then quit. purchased new cable to make sure that was not the issue. Still nothing. it initially sees it and asked to network. when they start they both look like they are going then i get a beep and then 2 alarm beeps. Tried restoring defaults multiple times with no success. H not much help. its not worth paying $1000 to send them back for H to work on then. any help is appreciated. thanks
Have you tried saving all your nav data on both units to a card... and then deleting all nav data from both units ....then restore defaults on both units. sometimes corrupted waypoints cause network issues
I Spend Most of my money on fishing, fishing tackle and boats, Very little is wasted......
Im trying that this morning. thanks
corrupt waypoint. deleted waypoints and routes, reset factory defaults, rebooted. work now. Thanks Trytoofish.
Looking at new ulterra TM?
Will the new mega DI / SI built into the MinKota Ulterra work with my Onix 8 and Onix 10, both are Si units?

Congrats! Sorry never saw your post in December
Tell me where has a slow movin' once quick draw outlaw got to go
So what is the difference between the Onix 10 SI NT and the Onix 10 SI NT Combo?? That are listed as two separate products AND the badging on the front for the Combos is different, ie sales Cross Touch under the Onix 10 SI on the cover to the SD card slots. Appreciate any feedback anyone can provide.
No difference. Combo was used with the number series units to indicate it was a combination of sonar and GPS. Just some of the ONIX units got that same designation. All ONIX units are sonar and GPS with internal GPS antennas.
NT models are Non-Touch screens, just buttons. CT models are Cross-touch, buttons and touch screen.

Somebody needs to either update the name of this thread to include "Solix" or start a new "Solix Information Resource" thread like exists for the Helix products. There hasn't been a post on this since April and it sure would cut down on all the various Solix threads.

Hi Wayne : I know I'm behind the times, I have 2 Onix 8 units. Upgraded last week to 3.5 and now I don't have any readings for depth, temperature. Also it was following contour after upgrade but stopped and won't follow it anymore with my I pilot Terrova. Besides replacing, taking a hammer to it or burning it, do you have any suggestions?
I only go out fishing for 3 to 4 hours a week, 16 weeks a year and really would like to fish instead of fixing units. So please if you can suggest a fix let me know.
