nitro center seat mod question...z7 only

Anyone know the actual dimensions of the center seat area? I'm going to make a box, but would like to get it built before taking out the seat. Curious if anyone jotted down the actual dimensions for the base.

I'm guessing I'm just going to have to pull the seat and measure

When I did mine I believe it was around 19.5 inches wide but can't remember the other measurement. You could probably get a rough estimate by just lifting the seat up without pulling it off.

I will try to remember to measure mine tomorrow. I am too lazy to go do it right now.

It's actually a little narrower towards the back. And the bottom corners are curved a bit so take precise measurements at flattest portion of the bottom.

My step that I made is 19.25"x13". It is covered with carpet and it has a little bit of wiggle room. Hope this helps.

You have to take the bins out of the rear deck, then reach in with a wrench to take off two nuts and washers.

I built a center box for my 2015 z7.....came out awesome. I made it really deep, it's the same height as the rear deck.
