I'm waiting on somebody to sell me on the Hammer Rod. Haven't tried one yet. Very curious about them.

Sure would like to get my hands on a Hammer to see how it feels. Never have held one. My rod box looks like a buffet line with the different rod brands right now. I would really like to begin to narrow it down to one brand of rod...that is affordable. I would have to say that right now the Duckett is probably my favorite.

A couple of years ago I had finally got all my rods to match. Then I tried a Dobyns and now I'm switching over again. I started selling my St Croix and slowly turning my rods gray instead of blue. Hopefully in a year or two my transformation will be complete.

I don't have your money now G...I can't be buying no $350- $400 fishing rods. I'd have to use them sitting in my driveway!

Ducketts with hammer, a Dobyns, and a St Croix or two in the mix.

What he said with exception of the blank. I've heard a lot about Hammer, but never have got my hands on one. If I did buy off the shelf, I think pound for pound, Duckett is hard to beat. I tend to build on Castaway and Batson blanks with a Phenix and St. Croix in the mix.

Falcons for me as we'll, mostly T-7 Cara models. Been with them over 20 years. Great rods.

the new Hammers would be my next choice, by far.

ALX and Kistler, but after trying the ALX I will be moving towards all of them.
