Minn kota Fortrex install on 2004 V18

I was asked by a buddy of mine if he could install a 80lb 24 volt trolling motor on his tracker. I know this can be done but my question is what do I need to do to complete a 12 to 24 volt install. Batteries and jumpers are a given but I am more asking about the wiring. A new run will have to be made to facilitate the 24 v battery set up. Is this something that can be purchased as a whole or do we have to buy wire and connectors and make up the connections ourselves from bow to batteries?
