    rear deck extension finished!

Thought I should give my back seater a little more room. 19-1/2" of more platform.
I used the rear seat pedestal floor mounts for base of platform, and mounted female pedestal seat mounts on bottom of platform, and cut down to size a couple pedestal poles (makes it very easy to put on/take off!) .
VERY clean look doing it this way. A little tricky getting everything to line up and measure up for good fit, but got lucky, and fit is nice and snug!
carpet color "almost" matches (actually it looks to be a better color match in person than pictures show).

Good idea using the floor seat pedestals to support the extension. Looks good.

Nice professional looking job! Charge your passengers a rear deck toll until it's paid for

Looks great. Nice job. You and your partner will enjoy the extra standing room in the back of the boat with that extension.

Well done! I really like that you can slide stuff under there to get it out of the way, but still maintain easy access if you need it.

Have you got supplemental bracing under there or support for the ends?

    That looks really good.

Exactly what I thought!! Probably cost a little more for materials but WELL WORTH IT!!

I'm guessing you have aluminum angle on the sides for bracing/support too?

wow! old post brought back to life!
No I didn't use any angle brackets. I thought I might have to, but because I used back to back 1/2" plywood, it is plenty strong enough on sides.
