Monroe boat launches

Thinking about another trip to the ponds but figure Boles may be frozen with the cold weather. I see a launch on the Rasin River 3 miles up from the mouth. I see it is now wake all the way down to the lake. Anyone ( Mike ) know if there is a ramp closer to the lake. Also how deep is the water in front of the plant.

I have a friend that launched there before, But I have not, and know nothing about it really. Normally the Raisin river freezes the same as the Bolle's Harbor canal anyway. Not enough flow to keep it open.

We need Boles Cam to see if its open.

Thanks I may try that if we decide to go. I don't have a boat so I am at the mercy of the guy that does.

You might want to check on the Detroit River site on mich sportsman. I think the walleye guys have been launching out of bolles and sterling state park

Raisin is pretty iced up as of this morning. I went down to check the ramp. Open water and ice chunks in the main river however. Ramp has like 1" or so. I was shocked. Bolles canals ice as well but didn't drive back to the ramp area. Imagine it's getting iffy. As Mini said, it will probably open right back up.
