Jack plate digital gauge

Hey guys,
The digital gauge on my atlas hydraulic jack plate isn't working. It still goes up and down no problem but the gauge just shows "- -". I was wondering if there was any quick way to reset the gauge, or how to fix it.

That's a common problem with the Atlas gauges. It is usually the sensor. Loosen the sensor & move it around until it starts to read then retighten. The long sensor bar that goes up & down actually needs to be slightly angled instead of perfectly straight up & down. It's hard to explain but you should be able to see what I am talking about. I can send you photos if you need them.
