First catch of 2016. Last Sunday. Water temps were 42*. Started out bass fishing but, after 2 hours with no bites and about all my shoulder could take, decided to switch things up a bit. Biggest one was just under 13" and I think the biggest I've caught out of this lake. Fried some up for Good Friday. Nothing better than cold water beer batter crappie and a cold beer to wash it down with

Thanks bud!! Put up a great fight & was released to get Bigger.

She filled up the whole live well!! I have had limits, that I have to find in there. She couldn't even roll over upright until it was level full of water. 28" in length!!

Went fishing Wednesday on Lake Eufaula in Alabama. Overall it was a very tough day. 1 Bass, 1 Channel Cat and one 4 ft gator. The gator was lying next to a cypress tree and hit a frog I was fishing through the lilly pads. Didn't see the gator but he apparently thought the frog was good enough to eat. I finally was able to shake the frog out of his mouth and got it back. I was about to cut my line when the hooks of my frog came out. The bass wasn't anything special just two pounds but, the channel cat hit a rattle trap that I was burning across a sandy flat and I thought I had caught Moby then I got him close to the boat. I just knew I had finally caught a 10 pound bass and finally had got past the 8 lb mark of which I have caught several. Talk about excited and then I saw him... Instant Disappointment! It was a fun fight though and really made for an exciting moment or two.

That's really good. More interesting though would've been if you had got that gator in the boat LOL.

Caught 60 smallies yesterday off my PT 190. New record for me on my favorite river. Jerk bait massacre and a few bed fish which I wasn't targeting. I absolutely love the draft of this boat - I can get anywhere I need to in skinny water (not the pattern yesterday) but it's nice. My front deck smells like SMALLMOUTH today!! Got to air it out but I 'll take that any day.

Nice Paul, it's just good to see your enjoying yourself. After what you've been through lately with your boat and your shoulder. Hope you have a great rest of the season.
