sweet water 2286
anyone have any opinions of sweet water boats? we are looking to purchase this time next year. I'd like something $30,000 or less with a tri hull and 150 hp 4 stroke. all loungers, boarding ladder, changing room/bathroom and party table if i can get 40 mph out of it with just the wife and I i'll be happy

They make a nice pontoon, owned by Godfrey Marine who also makes Sanpan, Aqua Patio and Patri Kraft pontoons. Don't know what the cost would be but in order to reach your speed goals you'll need to upgrade to a triple toon with lifting strakes and get the biggest hp engine you can get on there. The 2 toon rig is limited to a 115 hp, you might see 25-30 with it, all depends on how much $$$$$ you want to spend. You might want to look on Boat trader.com, lots of 1-3 yr old pontoons for sale......... good luck.
