Anyone have a mirror on there bassboat????

So you don't have to turn around to see if anyone is coming by you or how high the rooster tail is or whatever? Thought someone on here said they did was curious where you picked it up and how it attaches???

I have one mounted on my windshield. Since I have an older ranger I was able to put one on the inside. works great when youre running with a group and you want to see if anybody is running behind you.

I have a buddy that has one off an ATV and has it connected to the depth finder bracket. It is a great idea especialy at take off during a tourn.

I have one for in boat. After the kids got bigger, we didn't need them stuck all over the vehicles. The one I have is what you would find in the baby section and has a suction cup mount. Easy on and off.

I have a small one that I use to see that my starboard power pole is up. I've had neck surgery and don't like to twist my neck a lot.

Had one mounted to the windshield when my son was growing up, pulled all kinds of water toys for years. I got the mount from Overtons. With most boats today using frameless windshields you are best off using a small RAM Mount and mirror set up.

Bass Cat has them built into their consoles on the Jag.

Just my make-up mirror, when those bass see their first human, I want to look GOOD!

Seriously, I had some suction cup mounts for taking the kids knee-boarding in the past, they do work for that... Good thing to try before mounting anything permanent. Anyways, with a little 90 horse, here's never anyone in my rearview mirror anyways..

Yes.......my mirror makes it much easier to put on my lipstick while approaching the ramp where I might be seen by the other girls......

I put one on my bug using a stick mirror, the round ones used on truck mirrors mounted to a short ram and mounted to the console to the right of the windshield. Works great when launching and checking to see if anyone is on tour right side before making a turn.

Dite, where did you get that set up? I think something like that would work for me. Can't bring myself to drill hole for ram mount on side of console.

I have one in my Ranger. It is a six incher trimmed in blue and kept in the port side compartment until we have stopped from a run. Then my wife pulls it out, checks her hair and starts fishing. Never know who you might see on the water.

Sorry to bring back an old post but Can't turn my head to the right anymore having a lot of neck pain, not sure if it's arthritis or something else but would be nice to have one that I can check when launching or in a congested area around the boat launch with jet ski's and power boaters that don't know how to drive...lol would be nice to have a non permanent set-up so I could remove before I run at blast off

Al, its actually a good idea and I wish more people would look back before they decide to turn. In the case of a jet ski or ski/board boat I wish they would just look up or around at all.

Couple links below to mirror options for boats.
