    Problems with my motorguide digital tour 109

    Hey guys new to the boards here. So here it is, I have a digital tour 109 trolling motor on my champion 203, and lately I have had a rusting problem on the lower unit of it (only the submerged part of the motor). There is also rust right where the shaft of the motor meets the lower unit. What are my options here? New motor? Repaint? and if so, what kind of paint?.... thanks...
