2d is much much better. I can finally use max mode but you do have to lower sensitivity to around 4

If you wanted base maps to build off ACL and didn't have the means to buy better mapping, or the ability to download 9GB - it is well worth it to many people.

Free is just better yet.

Yeah It sucks to download. It's good for what it is at the cost of free

I hear ya - - the new machines all come with it preloaded, I grabbed it off a fast connection so it only took about a half hour to get it for the 9-10-12 & the 5-7 downloads.

The reason it's $25 is because many people wouldn't return the cards in a timely fashion.

So unless they paid for the cards & shipping up front, it just wouldn't work out well.

I just updated to 1.46 & the new base map today. Process was smooth, no errors. Hope to try it out this weekend. Otherwise for sure next week on vacation.

Trying to update my Solix 12. Tried backing up my nav data, when I put the SD card in nothing happens, says "no valid media not available". So even tried just putting the SD card in with the software update and same thing happens.....nothing. Any tips???
